Since our founding in 1945, Prospect Mold has engaged in a relentless drive for improvement and perfection. In so doing, we have earned a reputation for delivering complex compression and injection molds of the highest quality.

We also recognize the need to grow while remaining competitive in the global arena of our industry. In 1997, we acquired one of the top mold making companies in our region, Akromold. This acquisition has enabled Prospect Mold to grow into one of the largest mold making facilities in North America. The resulting blend of these shops is a company unique in its culture, rich in history and heritage, and richer in possibility.

In a further effort to diversify and strengthen our core abilities, Prospect Mold has dramatically increased the use of 5-axis machining to enter into the aerospace tooling market. 
Since 2001, we have acquired many new mills, each a little faster and larger than the last. 
We now supply complex contour tooling and production part machining too many of the world’s largest aerospace companies.  From cure fixtures, to trim fixtures to carbon fiber parts, Prospect Mold is leading the way for today’s airplanes.
